in before he uses it to market Dystopia in a distasteful way

  • Nov 7, 2021

Been seeing a lot of people posting videos of other artist stopping shows at the first act of violence so he’s definitely not gonna just move on from it (career wise) since people are adamant on putting him at the forefront of the issue

I was thinking about that too, but isn’t his whole brand built off being a rager.. that’s where a lot of his appeal comes from right?

didn’t the “rager” stuff start around with astroworld

It will absolutely affect his touring as venues will now see him and his fanbase as a liability. The insurance rates for his shows will be sky high, and some venues may refuse to book him altogether over the next year till this fully calms down.

In terms of endorsements, we’ll have to see, but Travis was getting a lot of endorsements geared towards the youth, and with how pissed parents are right now with him I can’t see him getting something like Fortnite right now.

His aesthetic and the ambience of his shows are now getting criticized and scrutinized by people who were previously not paying attention, and it may be a little while for his sponsors to successfully market him.

He’s taking virtually all of the major heat from the public, when LiveNation and the venue are realistically hold the majority of the fault in practice. But unfortunately that’s what you sign up for when it’s “your festival”, you are marketed as the organizer, and you promote the unruliness of your fans.

Luckily for him, in terms of legal issues, it will be the opposite. Live Nation and the Venue will get the lion share of the blame in that regard, because as I said, in practice, they are really who are responsible for the organization of the event.

My thoughts exactly. Hope Livenation get’s crucified in court tbh

Travis doesn’t have to change his image at all. I think this would make them want to go to a Travis concert even more. Kids love the thrill of being in a dangerous place. Just take a look at cartis tour. He could flip this into the biggest rollout of all time if he plays his cards right.

ehhh idk cuz you also have to factor in brands and sponsors not wanting to work with him and his concerts

He was barely on Jackboys and that project still brought out 2 hits and yes I also don’t like the Scott’s and franchise much but those 2 singles on Friday were good imo
