    safe

    festival is finished
    rollout will probably be cancelled
I’d guess he’s gonna pull himself out of any upcoming shows until mid next year
Probably do some significant PR work in the meantime and then come back w a different direction
Doubt he’s gonna be doing the rager kinda stuff either anymore

The other option is they lean into it and use it as promotion but that would be extremely gross and distasteful and I really hope that’s not being considered

crazy how travis might never be the same again

Better question: will the live event industry ever recover?

  • Nov 7, 2021

This question can’t be answered until the dust settles and we know exactly what happened

  • Nov 7, 2021

I think he will recover although I don’t know if the city of Houston will allow him to host another festival anytime soon. He will have to do a lot of PR and ensure it is a well run event to be able fo sniff the thought of hosting another festival.

It will absolutely affect his touring as venues will now see him and his fanbase as a liability. The insurance rates for his shows will be sky high, and some venues may refuse to book him altogether over the next year till this fully calms down.

In terms of endorsements, we’ll have to see, but Travis was getting a lot of endorsements geared towards the youth, and with how pissed parents are right now with him I can’t see him getting something like Fortnite right now.

His aesthetic and the ambience of his shows are now getting criticized and scrutinized by people who were previously not paying attention, and it may be a little while for his sponsors to successfully market him.

He’s taking virtually all of the major heat from the public, when LiveNation and the venue are realistically hold the majority of the fault in practice. But unfortunately that’s what you sign up for when it’s “your festival”, you are marketed as the organizer, and you promote the unruliness of your fans.

Luckily for him, in terms of legal issues, it will be the opposite. Live Nation and the Venue will get the lion share of the blame in that regard, because as I said, in practice, they are really who are responsible for the organization of the event.

    Everything said here is correct

    He’s be fine, no worries.

If he handles this like i think he will since he seems to have a strong team behind him when it comes to media portrayal. He will become even bigger.

Start a fund for the families, campaign around crowd control attached to cactus jack. Family man pictures and nothing too celebratory for a couple months. Then talk shows about the whole ordeal , some positive feedback from the families and boom hes a good guy forever.

I wish this was what would happen but he posted a half ass generic IG/Twitter apology and every other celebrities are going out of their ways to help the families except him

That devil Kris Jenner is probably surrounded by witches and a bonfire mustering up the greatest comeback. Just watch how they spin this in the coming months, you are about to witness marketing genius.

  • Travis go be straight

Of course the white girl popstar who wasn’t even at fault is gonna take less blame and hurt to her imagine than Travis who encourages that s*** at his shows remember he had a dude jump from a balcony and got paralyzed for life and he gave him a pair of shoes or something

Racists really come out of the woods to s*** on him even though they didn’t know of his existence till this incident.

This is what pisses me off the most about the whole thing, seeing these patronizing white people sharing their opinion like it f***ing matters or like he planned for 8 people to die is giving real racist vibes. “Rapper” Travis Scott front page rn like a public lynching
