  • He helped pioneer dozens of genres, has more classic albums than any other artist I can think of, was an insane trumpet player, and he was just a badass motherfucker. Truly and honestly one of the greatest and most influential artists ever.

    It parallels improv but a beauty shines through for sure

If you wanna get into his fusion era, definitely check out B****es Brew, In a Silent Way, Live-Evil, and On the Corner. I would recommend more but his discog is overwhelmingly massive so just take your time tbh
