He helped pioneer dozens of genres, has more classic albums than any other artist I can think of, was an insane trumpet player, and he was just a badass motherfucker. Truly and honestly one of the greatest and most influential artists ever.

If you like Kind of Blue, check out Miles Ahead, Milestones, Miles Smiles, and Sketches of Spain. If you wanna get into his fusion era, definitely check out B****es Brew, In a Silent Way, Live-Evil, and On the Corner. I would recommend more but his discog is overwhelmingly massive so just take your time tbh

You are. Every album he released sounds nothing like the next. It’s crazy how varied each album is.

Star People, Water Babies, Cookin, Steamin, Round About Midnight
Peep Dark Magus and Cookin’ with the Miles Davis Quintet.
Dark Magus is some crazy s***. First time listening to that album I got HEAVY Talking Heads vibes.
I find jazz maybe the hardest genre to get into but I love Kind of Blue (basic ik) and On the Corner
