This world is baffling. Can't stand these idiots honestly
Ait let's stop with this. Spotify didn't take Neil Young's catalog. He took it off spotify :😊
lemme change my message quickly
*let spotify creator persuade smooth-brain rogan to quit his pseudoscience agenda so we can have neil back.
Umm. Here's the latest market share
i had no idea amazon music was that big
Apple music is better purely because you can have your own library. I ain't never seen a Spotify user have all them old Wayne mixtapes. True music heads use apple music anyway
of course the melon nerd would cancel spotify
i’ve never done a double blind test or anything, but when i’ve tested between lossless and hi-res lossless and i can’t tell much of a difference, but i can tell a difference between MP3 and lossless. maybe it is a bit of a placebo, but i remember I’ve had experiences in the past where i’ve been like “this sounds off” and i check my settings and it’s set to a lower quality then i usually listen to.
if its the lower quality mp3 version then youd be able to tell. but if youre comparing properly encoded highest quality mp3 to lossless (same mastering/version of the album too ofc) than you wont be able to tell unless you have golden ears. (and even then i really doubt its enough to make a difference in enjoyment). whenever people claim they can tell a difference its always "just trust me bro the difference is huge" and they can never pull up with proof
but yeah regular lossless vs high res lossless is complete bullshit for sure
People that are outrage at outrage are the worst thing ever lol
One of the most confusingly pointless things ever

Instead of our money going to the artists whose music we love it's going apocalyptic weapons for WW3

spotify has a local files feature too, so you could technically upload mixtapes into playlists on there as well. its just not in the cloud like AM, so its a huge pain in the ass

Damn AM got local files in the cloud? Now I definitely need to make the switch.
