earthwalkaAfraid to take a real stance on anything mainly due to the fact this is a big media conglomerate with multiple major entities invested deeply in the pockets of marvel with a major influence on what can and cannot be said, shown, or done.
Crazy part about it is marvel comics are really political a lot of the time too

They need to push both Avengers movies back a year. Have 2026 be Strange 3, Spidey 4, and maybe like Shang Chi 2 with Moon Knight Season 2 somewhere in there.
Then 2027 run Doomsday, and in 2028 for the 20th anniversary of Iron Man, have Secret Wars come out as the finale to the current MCU.

They need to push both Avengers movies back a year. Have 2026 be Strange 3, Spidey 4, and maybe like Shang Chi 2 with Moon Knight Season 2 somewhere in there.

I mean I would guess that could work? If they have no clue what’s coming at all and they’re thrown off it could make sense that they lose in Doomsday and Doom makes Battleworld at the end?

but still doesn't feel efficient because the avengers is not formed at all. so would most of doomsday be the forming of the team?

Once they announced the dates for 2026 and 2027 last year, I knew it would be f***ed.
Cramming all the story and production into such a limited timeframe is such a boneheaded decision. SW films next summer, so if we take that at its most liberal meaning, it starts in May and the movie comes out in 12 months. Granted there will be some pre-viz done, but filming, major VFX, and editing all crammed into 12 months. (notwithstanding any reshoots that might need to happen)

Maybe the point is that Doomsday is the lead up & kickstart everything moving forward but doesn’t make much sense if they plan on ending the current MCU with SW

My guess is the new Avengers will be assembled by just randomly showing up to fight Dr. Doom. They’ll struggle to work together in the beginning, have a big argument at the end of the second act, and then come together with amazing teamwork at the end.
