But seriously we should refer to the post endgame MCU as the filler arc
So sad man…so baffling how they f***ed everything up
I really hope these next marvel/ Avengers movies are great

I was reading about how this movie didn't take any risks and whatnot. I suppose this post is kinda what they were talking about
I am very scared for Doomsday though. The film comes out in a little over a year and there is still no clear idea as to what the team even looks like, let alone the plot for the film
I think the problem is (and the producers knew this as well) is that Anthony Mackie is not a lead actor kind of actor. He’s always good in amongst the cast but he just doesn’t have that presence.
It’s why the film is 70/80% Harrison Ford because he can clearly carry a film and he was happy to put the work in front of the camera.
This honestly felt like a side story about a side character type of film. And this is captain America we’re talking about. It shouldn’t feel like that.
Disagree he got the charisma and chops to do it, but they shafted him in this one
Anthony Mack is not the problem, they literally wrote him to be secondary to the real main character Harrison ford. It’s a script problem not an actor
I can see that perspective as well although I do still think he doesn't have leading man aura
Doc Strange 2 is the Godfather compared to every other movie in this list
I agree I would put at the top of this tier but it doesn’t really go into the tier of the movies above it.
I can see that perspective as well although I do still think he doesn't have leading man aura
Unironically saying aura
Yes but the team behind Beef is behind it as well as one of the writers from The Bear so I have a lot of faith there
Plus if they really nail Sentry/Void it’s gonna be the best villain in a long time

They can’t alienate half the audience
They have to be vague enough that both sides can think it’s about them
Not a single great movie since phase 4 started.
i heard guardians 3 was great but the closest ive seen is spiderman no way home

Doomsday absolutely needs to succeed. The entire MCU structure is built around building up to these big Avengers films.
If Marvel can’t manage to make a good Avengers film now, the future of the MCU will be extremely bleak
Everything is weighing on that film being a success
Disagree he got the charisma and chops to do it, but they shafted him in this one
Outside of a marvel film if he was leading role the film would bomb.

Afraid to take a real stance on anything mainly due to the fact this is a big media conglomerate with multiple major entities invested deeply in the pockets of marvel with a major influence on what can and cannot be said, shown, or done.
this movie was good lol, maybe not great
harrison and anthony were great in this, action was great. pacing was a bit too fast but wasn’t bad
We are two films away from Doomsday… think about that for a second brothas
how many shows though
