i usually just play whatever is in the whip and if they vibe with it, they vibe with it. im not out here trynna flex on my friends with deep cuts cuz thats lame af lmao
basically all of us were like that though unless your first taste of music was deep cuts you were probably just listening to s*** on the radio, found artists you liked then checked out their other stuff. idk why you’d say it isn’t worth your time to show someone deep cuts when that’s how you convert them
We all gotta walk one day
I like listening to deep cuts as much as anyone on this site but listening to hits sometimes is cool as well, music doesn’t always have to be so heavy and complex for me to f*** with it
Love when they hear 4 songs they like from an artist and go WOW ALL of his songs are good
it’s worth trying but it has to fit the moment, i remember trying to get kids into yeezus deep cuts and gkmc storytelling songs when i was 13 and it didn’t go over well
My friends listen to: Future, Young Thug, Lil Baby, Roddy Ricch, Gunna, NoCap, Jack Harlow, Lil Durk, Da Baby, Migos, Gucci, Pooh Shiesty, etc
Some R&B
Also grew up with classic artists from 90’s, 00’s and 10’s so we all respect our elders to a degree
Then my family listens to mostly everything I don’t. I’m actually the second oldest male in my family. I don’t talk to my uncle like that and my two cousins live directly on the other side of the country.
So I’m really only in contact with the women. And they listen to country, pop, and classic oldies type stuff so I really feel disconnected to the world when it comes to music these days😞
That’s why I come here
lifetime ban from the barbershop cus i played an unreleased jay verse on the aux
Yo
my family loves the music i play
my mom bought me a toro y moi poster because she loves his stuff
That's FIRE lol. Toro a goat
The popular songs are the only ones people are gonna remember
Deep cuts don’t matter
This might be very true and that's very unfortunate...a lot of these artists got so much more to offer than just their chart toppers
My best friend allegedly loves Pop Smoke and Dior was one of his favourite songs. He also cried when Pop Smoke died. Later that summer, I was playing meet the woo 2 with him in the whip and hes asking me what songs are these

Not really worth the time. Anyone that only listen to hits aren’t real music fans anyway(imo). Not going out the way for those people.
Facts Thats why niggas scream “he fall off” mean while they didn’t even listen to the artist last album niggas be sheep
Y'all ever be in casual conversation with someone about something music related but don't want to disclose you know a lot about a certain music subject?
Been like this since I got on KTT
man just listen to music
