drake is culturally and musically
Drake is close culturally and musically? What? Drake is nowhere near MJ culturally lol I don’t even gotta speak on the music.
I want drake stans to know that they make drake look ridiculous when they compare him to MJ, it's almost like y'all want people to spit on that man and call him overrated.
The hate he gets is directly proportional to your bullshit, same with most huge fanbases...
Factssssssassss

Drake is closer than Beyonce lol, her music isn't even the biggest pop of her era.
I think that's what a new MJ would have to be. Cos you could argue Prince was a better musician, artist and live performer in the 80s, but nobody dominated like MJ. They have to be the biggest artist.
21 was probably the closest thing in the 2010s to a Thriller moment tbh

whatttttt I never seen this

21 Savage?
Kanye and beyonce comes the closest
Kanye first 6 albums are classic no one can top that album run
That said, there will never be another Prince; period.
There could be another Prince tbf. It's just the discipline he had to master everything he did that would be hard for some artists. A lot of artists would have stopped at a couple things.

I feel culturally Beyoncé is closer because of her goddess like status. She get extra points for being on her stuff when it come to social issues. What she’s doing for the black community is amazing. And musically I don’t think he come anywhere near MJ. He dropped a couple dud albums in a row. I’d put Bruno or Weeknd up there before Drake. Adele number wise is the best answer
LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WTF
That s*** is so forced it’s cringe lmao
Theres real Drake songs to get emotional to as well like wtf
Now that you think about it, it’s lowkey weird how Drake stans make these absurd comparisons knowing that people are gonna s*** on drake
I feel like they get a rise out of black men getting s*** on, again this proves it’s all a circus to people

i don't think everyone feels like b is on her social issues like that tbh, she's empowering and inspirational for people but a lot of that new project was seen as tasteless by some people and if you look at where she's at politically, she's probably to the right of the people who make her out to be where they're at.
Kendrick Lamar has made the defining social political music of this decade not Beyonce imo. His music is more popular than hers in the 2010s too. On his biggest albums MJ wasn't that political anyway. He's not in that bob dylan, chuck d, m.i.a. protest music tradition.
Drake isn't political at all, but i don't think that was a big part of MJ lyrically anyway, people project it onto stars. Drake's the sound of radio, the sound of streaming and has a vision for global music, so i think he's closest.
Adele dropped the biggest billboard 200 album oat years before the streaming era, so musically she's the only one coming close tbh. Hasn't 21 done like 35 million sales worldwide
