Dude he had a whole generation of guys dying their hair blonde

At his peak he was bigger than all this guys

Think he is talking about influencing other rappers as far as the music and hip hop culture. He had white guys dying their hair blonde and every rapper scared to go at him but I wouldn’t say EM influenced the game the way the others have.

50 cent, snoop dog, Ye, Wayne, Keef, and PAC influenced the world more than Jay Z imo. Not america but the entire world

50s reach is insane, I just heard In Da Club in a random tiny village in the north of Morocco last week..

Em influenced MGK, stop talking about him.

It’s pretty hard to leave Eminem off a list like this

Even though eminem was a mainstream beast i feel like he had more of an impact on underground rap than mainstream

Kendrick is way more of a Wayne baby.

Honestly he has pieces of all four of the rappers Charlemagne listed. You can hear Jay, Wayne, Ye, and Tupac in him. Wayne was a massive influence on him when he was coming up, he made a whole album based on a dream where he saw Tupac, Jay is like a God to him, and Ye influence on him is clear with the conscious content he makes.

Eminem is not more influential than Wayne, Ye, Hov or 2Pac.

    1. Kanye
    2. Wayne
    3. Drake
    4a. Jay Z
    4b. Chief Keef

The only correct list (in order too)

Eminem influence is nice but it largely is only in rap, and doesn’t translate over to any other genres of music nor any other areas of life other than the word/ concept of “Stan”

Tupac was a revolutionary. Very loud and abrasive. Outside of Ye, X, and Kendrick his biggest influence on rap is like publicly beefing with artists and name dropping, and being/purporting to be a thug/gangsta

He was gone too soon to have as much lasting influence as someone like Ye who has had 20 years to inject his ideas into mainstream culture

I think Pac & Em were the only legitimate arguments. They not on the Mount Rushmore but they definitely some Founding Fathers

Eminem only has influence on every white rapper on Facebook with 1,000 views on their "freestyle" video into a mic in their bedroom

It’s really beautiful, nice and friendly people. A lot of hustlers though, you have to be careful.

    Rakim gotta be on there

This. Any list that doesn't begin with Rakim is invalid to me. Charlamagne acts like Rap didn't matter until the 2010's. Recency bias.
