That doesn't mean anything. The song Drake dropped isn't a single. It isn't being promoted on radio. Didn't get a music video. And is CLEARLY an album cut he simply dropped to tide fans over since he delayed the album.
Acting like a 5-minute R&B cut with no hook and a song structure that wouldn't work on radio or the charts is supposed to be a multi-week #1 is disingenuous.

No one said it’s supposed to be, but at the same time what Charlamagne is saying is fair then. The average consumer isn’t wondering what songs were sent to radio and which weren’t, they see the word “Single” and they’re expecting a certain thing.
Obviously it’s an album cut but it was still released as a single whether it was sent to radio or not

They always have to set the most unrealistic standards for Drake and only Drake. How dare he drop a song that isn't a cultural staple and a mega smash hit?
