I was chilling with this chick last week and we went and got some food, vibed at the crib, talked about our different interests, all that. I matched with her on a dating app & had known her from like a year and some change before, from going to the same college before covid shut my campus down.

We were gonna go see this movie this week and I really enjoyed myself when we linked for the first time last week. I texted her/ called her a few times over the last week with no response and and she finally texted me back yesterday. I said what’s up when we going to see that movie and she said she doesn’t think we should hang any more, I came on too strong when we chilled, and it made her very uncomfortable. I tried to kiss her when we were chilling and she wasn’t with it so we just cuddled and played this card game she showed me.

I didn’t really try anything after that because I saw she didn’t wanna kiss and I’m not going to force myself on her if she doesn’t want to kiss. Literally just had my arm around her and we were talking & vibing.

I feel wierd though because we even made plans while she was leaving on the first link so it’s like…why didn’t she voice that she was uncomfortable? And if she felt so wierd after I tried to kiss her, why even stay for an hour plus more after that and hang out and talk with me ? I don’t get it. I don’t know how to feel because I thought we had a really great time hanging out. I wish she would have said something. Now I feel like a jerk but at the same time It’s like, I’m a guy you matched with on a dating app. Do you expect me to make no moves or something? Am I supposed to be the passive best friend? Am I wrong for making a move?

If she wasn’t interested in me in that way why even come over knowing I’m putting out those vibes her way?

Ik I might get hate but I want real advice on this. I think maybe I moved too quick because I’m used to women moving quick with me but I just idk, I’m confused. I try to make sure the women I date feel comfortable and safe w me so idk how to feel.

Hell yeah bro, had a tinder date with this cute short girl who seemed really down to earth

She really wanted to see me and we set up a lil dinner date pretty fast which was different.

We had a nice date at Chili’s lol and went back to my place around the corner to smoke a blunt.

She made it sound like she wanted to chill again talking bout smoking again and s***.

But the next day we texted a couple texts and then I find out she blocks me on everything……

I really just don’t know what her intentions were like if she was seeing if she wanted to hook up or what?

Nah this horse s*** cause a girl once said she didn't want to have s***and just hang out but when we went to get Wendy's she started cuddling on me and we made out and f***ed

Then she said she didn't like the s***we had in her car and she wasn't feeling like we were gonna be good and then she let me pipe on her bday and said I was raw at s***
It got old so we stopped talking randomly. Some times people be stupid, my advise is just don't even bother entertaining people like this

the thing is dating (especially via online apps) just sucks. It sucks for everyone involved. You could argue it's gotten worse since the pandemic.

You're dealing with strangers that, let's be honest, you don't know a goddamn thing about. We don't know their situations or their past relationship issues they've dealt with and how that's f***ed their whole s*** up.

I can't tell you how many times I've had the "great 1st date, I wanna see you again" just to get either ghosted or flaked or just notice the energy starting to die out.

You gotta understand that whatever happened to make her/him/them ghost or block you, has absolutely NOTHING to do with you as a person and more to do with them. You can be the most attractive and sweetest person and one text from an ex or one flashback to a situation that had nothing to do with you can make your date throw all that good will away.

Humans are just confusing. Dating is confusing. That's why everybody hates it lol.

Ghosting is phony, it's lame, and above all else, it's a sign that that person lacked the emotional maturity to communicate like a regular adult. Ultimately, it's a sign you dodged a bullet.
