You need Christ to go to the Father but you need Mary to go to Christ

    Mary isnt some woman

She's the higher being and authority after The Holy Trinity

who said we orthodox dont go to Him? we just humble ourselves and show our repentance while doing so

you dont walk up to your father when you make a mistake like ''sorry, anyways, see you later''....you go to Him with grief and hope and if necessary you have your mother or siblings intervene

    same principle with Mary

Mary is not the savior of the world.

yes, but she gave birth to Him and She's the closest humanity will ever get to Him

    Trust in God y'all

I dont like swearing but if I did I'd swear on the lives of my descendants that whoever trusts in God will never be let down.

but do it with courage. God hates cowards. Trust in God like a soldier trusts in his comrades

the devil's biggest win against humanity is despair and our biggest victory is courage....you fell? get back up and ask for mercy

''Keep your mind in hell and do not despair, said to be a teaching Jesus Christ told him in a dialogue they had. After demons surrounding him weren't allowing him to pray, he looked up at the sky and said: Lord, you see that I want to pray to you, but they won't let me. The Lord then appeared to him and told him: The prideful ones always suffer this way. So Siluan asked: Lord, how can I become humble? And the Lord replied: Keep your mind in hell and do not despair.''

Edit: I'm talking about him en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silouan_the_Athonite

In the second coming all of Christ's church will become like Him cause like a psalm says ''you'll become like the one you see'' (I dunno the exact english translation) cause then God's plan will reach its completion

but at the present time and state of the world the closest to God is Mary. That's just the truth. (I dont wanna rob you of that fruit.)

Yes, that's exactly why she's our Holy mother. Cause she can understand our sinful nature and pray firmly to Christ in our place

The only difference between figures like David, Moses and Mary is that Mary will forever be part of Christ's nature

when Christ resurrected He didnt leave His body behind and floated soul-only to the sky....Thomas could touch the holes in Christ's hands and His hair became scarlet from the blood....all of which Christ took along with Him cause He blessed both the human souls and the human bodies.....that's why He didnt just appear 33 years old but instead grew up like a normal human...to bless humanity in all of its glory like the Father intended to do with Adam

and Mary will forever be the one that helped Him achieve that

you know, this age we live in has a lot of bad stuff....sometimes even straight demonic

but one good thing is most of us dont live under dictatorships, so we can search and study and investigate all we want plus we all can voice our opinions....you'll find a lotta lies and false doctrines but you'll also find truth.

We can talk about God all days of our lives but at the end it's the experience that confesses the truth.

God is also Life, Truth, Light and Just....

that's why a love-life without truth is neither bright nor just to our fellow Christians

there's a difference between sympathy and empathy

when we let stuff like lust, greed, pride etc consume us we understand each other through empathy cause we are sinners

Jesus sympathizes with us and is merciful cause we're built in His image, that's why when Lazarus died Jesus cried even though He knew He'd resurrect him

but Christ doesnt have empathy, He will not feel bad for us when we're blasphemous or murderers that's why we need someone closer to our nature to mediate

why do you think all of the priests are human? God could have angels do their work even better....it's for that exact reason, we need an intermediary that can understand us.

  • Jul 20, 2022

    @commonwrongdoer

we have different beliefs and I'm in no position to teach anyone

I can keep this back n forth going but the truth is not a show of entertainment

David in his psalms spoke of God's wrath, is God's wrath a force of destruction? Christ said He's here to save us and not destroy and Christ is God. So, God's wrath is the feeling of distance when you live under illusions and the yoke of sins.

Sins can get cleansed by repenting and joining the church but illusions make us the devil's puppets

In your opinion I might be living under illusions....whatever we think of each other, If you're not my enemy you're my ally

    look at Luke 9:49-56

    Are you denying Christ's humanity?

no but His humanity never controlled Him. He controlled it

He didnt get hungry because He was bound by His body but because He wanted to fast and show us the importance of self-control. You can find this in the scripture. Even when He died He cried out to the Father and then died...how many people in a cross do you think died crying out loud for the safety of their oppressors? most people that died by crucifixion did not have the strenghth to speak. He wanted to die so He died.

to conclude, Christ is 100% God and 100% human but He was not bound by His humanity.

what im talking bout tho is sympathy and empathy. Christ will feel bad for us and forgive us yes. But what if we abuse repentance and repeat the same things over and over again despite knowing who He is? will he forgive us? yes, but we need humility...Our God is not a higher power, He's a true face, meaning he has likes, dislikes and things that please Him as the Old Testament states and that's what we strive for...

Lust for the opposite sex, thirst for power, pride

all 3 of em human emotions all humans share

does that mean Christ needed these sinful emotions too to be human?

it doesnt make sense. Dont forget who's His Father

    Is empathy a sin?

    Is empathy a sin?

the word empathy originates from the greek words em = lean towards and pathos = passion

and passion is used to describe a repeated sin you're obsessed with and cant break free from

that's why we call the passion of Christ the passion of the non-passionate

sympathy on the other hand means being part of the passion....

that's why I wanted to seperate these two....and I'm bringin up greek cause the scripture was originally written in greek and hebrew and the ''idolaters'' Paul mentions are the greeks of that time. (along with the israelites of judaism)
