“You would rather comfort someone to hell, I would rather offend them to heaven”
Should be a slogan for the moral police.
Free will isn’t as free and that’s perfectly okay. No one should want 100% freedom, not in this world.

The only "freedom" that Adam had in the garden was the freedom to sin, which paradoxically made him a slave to sin. When Christ sets you free, He frees you from sin but makes you a slave to Christ.

I think most people have it the wrong way around, they act like the knowledge is the key and that they are the lock. So they put the key in the lock and think 'Oh doesn't fit' and then discard it - but its the other way around! YOU are the key.
Once you have changed enough you will come back to the same piece of knowledge that was frivolous and stupid X years ago and suddenly its the most profound thing you have encountered.
Ever hear a song and not like it, then hear it again weeks, months or years later and suddenly you really like it? Same concept, its the exact same song yet because you are now different your hear something in the song you didn't before.
This is the process through which it stops being just words on a page and instead; the cardinal Truth.
You reach back to what you thought you knew and the man that you are now can finally turn worthless information and knowledge into wisdom, something that you can actually be made better from and in turn not infect anyone else with your disease.
But the world does its best to make sure you are never ready.
Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, “I find no pleasure in them“.
