It spans 45 years of his life. I’d imagine we get a story after it also

You never know with Nolan and time. Doesn’t necessarily have to be a linear story line. Could be that it goes from both after the fact and before and the story meets in the middle

if Nolan doesn't use his visual flare to recreate either the atomic test blast
or the japanese bombings, then it is a waste

I do not want to watch a 3 hour black and white procedural of guys talking about all of this, just to be blue balled

The trailer shows a ton of color shots, it’s not going to just be black and white

This falls on the same date as the Barbie movie

The testing is already confirmed. We are talking about Nagasaki/Hiroshima

i'm thinking Nolan wouldn't want to show Nagasaki/Hiroshima if the he already shows the test.

i'd like to see how he visualizes it, but I feel like he'd think it's overkill (literally)

Nolan trailers almost always refrain from showing much of the second half of his movies tbh

color for the scenes before the first test of the bom, b&w for the scenes after

3 hours of the making of nuke and why nuke bad

You can simplify every movie/show/book in a similar way as well
