Odyssey and Spidey really have the entire summer to themselves.
Just absolutely perfect release windows, and the casting overlap on top of that is almost poetic.
People gonna be ping ponging from one to the other for like the next 2 months.
man that cyclops scene was straight out of a horror movie
best part easily, circe scene was also on some body horror type s\*\*\*
man that cyclops scene was straight out of a horror movie
Having it straight up be an actual physical being and not primarily CG really helped to give it a surreal quality.
It looked like they’d actually gotten footage in a real cave of a real ass cyclops.
Quick nolan ranking after sitting with this for a couple of days
1. Interstellar
2. Oppenheimer
3. Inception
4. Dark knight
5. Prestige
6. Dunkirk
7. Tenet
8. Odyssey
this dude is a BEGGAR
it's hilarious how Nolan was being called "woke" for this when a lot of people were calling him a right-winger after TDKR came out
Came in a little late. Showing was at 2 and I can in at 208. Came into people pulling something with ropes. Couldn’t tell cause I was getting seated. What did I miss?
maybe I gotta rewatch idk tbh it’s way down on my “Nolan” list
If you've only seen it once definitely give it another go. It's a very common experience for the first watch to be meh. I think the love theme makes the 3rd act very jarring but they actually set it up really well throughout

I don't care about either or and love all his movies but I mean the villain of Rises is literally just a working class movement based on Occupy, and by Oppenheimer and Odyssey he's showing sympathy to Communist movements and casting a trans man as a warrior

tdkr was already shooting well before the occupy wall street movement had started, so that doesn't make much sense imo
I don’t think itd be crazy to throw this into the debate of one of the top 3 best films ever created of all time
Easily one of Nolan’s best films, need to see this at least 3 more times in the cinemas
I really like holland and bernthals performance in this
My fav scenes I think were the Athena’s temple link up, the final fight, and all the pieces of the storming of Troy put together. Especially them coming out of the horse tho. The stealth scene reminded me so much of countless scenes in other movies shows and even video games. It was brilliantly done.
I love Greek logic or whatever. Telemachus, I’ll kill them all and then leave and then all the revenge will fall on me, not my son who’s taking my place and staying around. Love you bro peace

Lowkey think Nolan is almost as apolitical as it gets
Tried the skip the previews gimmick and showed up late
Previews are part of the theater experience

I’m so scared of this happening to me so I show up like 15 minutes before posted showtime for everything

Was always gonna work out for both. Never quite understood the complaints over IMAX, which wouldn’t bump a monumental release like Spidey that much higher
This over performing projections is a fantastic start to a phenomenal month for these overlapping acts
