Just watched this last night and had to make a thread for this. Beautiful movie and an all time performance by Edgerton. Fantastic cinematography, as well.

Also, if you love Malick, this is probably the closest anyone will get to making a Terrence Malick movie without being him lmao.

Absolutely loved it

Wow wow wow. Extremely good. Little something missing in the mix for it to be a stone cold masterpiece but it’s really solid. In a just world it would be part of the best picture chatter imo. Not the winner for me but it’s of that echelon for this years movies pretty handily

If not for OBAA, probably my favorite of the year.

Gorgeous tone poem and Edgerton has never been better. Maybe the story's a little undercooked, all things considered, but absolutely worth a watch.
