Hario everything: plastic v60, glass carafe, hand grinder, scale, and gooseneck stainless steel kettle
Respect. Hario is definitely great. I actually just switched to a Chemix not long ago and I might upgrade my whole setup with Fellow's EKG kit.

I hate the snob battles between v60 and chemex. I just want people to use what they think makes a better brew for them!
Chemex are just too big for my liking. I love the compact nature of the v60 and how you can brew a cup over any vessel. Just know your ratios and get popping!
If anyone is around St. Louis or Nashville you have to check out Sump coffee. You will struggle to find a better roasted bean. Flavors are insane!!

I agree. I just wanted something new to try out and I've been eyeing the chemex for a while. And I do drink a lot of coffee so the big chemex is perfect for me and whenever I have guess I always fill it up.
Have you tried one of those coffee subscription?

That makes a lot of sense. Biggest problem with the v60 is if I need to make coffee in any real volume, lol. Grinding and brewing forever...
I have not tried a subscription yet - my friends have, though. I just have local options for some killer ass roasts here so I do not really have the need for subs. You?

Yeah I always at least drink a 16 ounce coffee to begin with so the chemex comes in handy for those long mornings where I drink a second one and sometimes my girl also gets one.
I only tried one subscription but I’m very happy with it so far. It’s been a couple months and I’ve always had 3 new (to me) coffees every month. I’m using theroasterpack, it’s in Toronto I think. Since I’m more of a high caffeine guy I get light roasts and from those I also get to taste all the different notes much better.

Light roast the only real way to go imo. Nothing like brewing that perfect cup and sipping on it - enjoying the flavors ugh
I made it. Just read again.
yeah you made no point. go ahead and re read the post I replied to and my reply and realize the irrelevance of your post.

Okay sweetheart. Stay an ignorant snob. Nothing I can do about it

must be drinking a lot of fruity blends cause you just called another man sweetheart
How do you guys deal with the hand sweats from coffee? By far the biggest downside from me (to the point I've cut back my consumption significantly bc it's that annoying)
Had the fattest headache through the weekend and today cause the lack of coffee in my system
I got a problem
