New trailer just spoils a huge plot element of the movie that I would've liked to discover in the theater
Fuuuck just saw the new trailer play at the theater, wish i coulda seen this movie early
trailer 2 or?
The headline of one of the reviews from Twitter.. I didn't watch the second trailer, so maybe it got revealed there too
I think I just got spoiled the twist of this film
I wish I didn’t know this part too, but if you’re referring to the ai / robot element apparently that’s barely the twists or fun reveals/climaxes/shocking moments. It’s like an end of first act thing. Saw someone say that could’ve been part of the posters and synopsis’s to just sell the movie, with how much more there is to the film than just that
But again I would’ve loved to go in completely blind with just the first teaser so if anyones doing that don’t read this

yeah that woulda been cool to see that revealed in the first watch
I ain’t even know it was this week
this was fun. like a dark comedy version of ex machina
Everyone’s pissing about the robot element being in trailer #2
Is that that much of a thing to ruin? How’s the film look if you go into it knowing that? There’s way more to it than that right?
people who saw it last year at festivals assumed that would be part of the ad campaign because there’s a lot more to the film than that, but how do you feel now seeing it?

this is not me spoiling how the movie ends but a vague description of an added plot point the only other real “twist” is that there’s a second robot. also the trailer makes this seem creepier than it really is. nothing about this film is scary
Companion is a funny, interesting sci-fi thriller that keeps you on your toes when you least expect it. It is my first truly good first watch of the year. Had u not been spoiled by the second trailer I would’ve found the twist at the end of the first act to be a real shock. Even so, there are still some to be found in this movie. I’ve liked Jack Quaid as an actor for a while now but he really gets to sink his teeth into this role. This love also serves as the launch pad for Sophie Thatcher as a lead. I need more of her in a lot of things asap.

I came out thinking the same, very funny and had a good amount of twists too
Sophie was so bad in this too
Between this and Heretic Sophie really got great projects to shine in
Feel the same about Jack Quaid, he’s great at playing this likeable guy but just as good at playing an loser like in Scream
yeah I got a reason to watch now
i'm losing my mind seeing everyone liking this movie. wtf did i miss. s*** was pretty lame
Thought this was a solid 7/10, but most of the humor from the side characters fell flat. Also something about Lukas Gage annoys me
