huh i thought this was a Zach Cregger film

His name was all over the marketing but yeah it’s not. He produced it though along with Roy Lee who picked up Barbarian and has a nice little resumé himself

So it’s very much the twisted minds of the producers of barbarian

most of all, this reminded me of the works of Drew Goddard like The Cabin in the Woods and Bad Times at the El Royale. Sort of less clever than it thinks it is, and it's a message you're well familiar with, but it's still such a fun time if you stop being a plot nazi for one second. Sophie Thatcher is yet another revelation out of Hollywood. There is never a shortage of interesting actors imo. Love a good opening and closing title beat.
