I wouldn't stress b I get hit up my Amazon like every other month for interviews after fumbling my initial one like two years ago too, with the way they're expanding and hiring rn I would just focus on polishing your skills, the opportunities will present themselves in time especially if you're in a couple of recruiters systems.

this is probably a stupid and inefficient way of doing it but i just jumped in balls deep.

I wanted to learn python so I that I could do interviews with it and well, just know it. I started prolly last week.

at first I was just writing some of the data structures in python so that I could get a feel for the syntax and how classes work. then I started doing some leetcode/codewars easy problems to get an even better feel for the syntax and to learn different tools and functions that python has built in

ive been googling stuff as i go along but ive had a decent amount of java experience beforehand. but yea, ive been finding python to be much better & easier at least for coding questions because of its shorthand notations and for all the built in tools its got

a) Tell recruiter I'm swamped this week and can only interview next week

to give my self some time to prepare

b) just do the interview this week

Well I did b) and it didn't work out for me
Just know that even if you delay your interview, your interviewers most likely won't know about it so that won't affect their final decision. Only thing though is they might fill out their recruitement quota early and stop hiring.
Also don't your other offers have a deadline?

Just started with Python. Though i see it as a hobby right now but i might consider studying CS.

It's so different from actual programming, learn some interesting ways of approaching problems. U might find urself doing very little coding. I don't think I'm especially good or bad at algos but I've forgotten so much c++ I'm basically stuck with python or Matlab b.c. the learning curve for c++ is so steep

I took undergrad algos so I know stuff like Fourier transforms dynamic programming etc.

Just not sure what this class even entails tbh
