Not in the field, but typically the data “science” jobs will go to people with a masters in the field.
Data a***yst is what you’ll likely end up doing first.
Brush up on your basic statistics, excel & maybe linear algebra.
And look at the a***yst jobs around you and see what else they’re looking for
Can also be an a***yst for long enough and pick up the python and sql on the side to get a data science engineer position w/o a masters.

Or an 26 length int array. For each letter character (ignore case) in the file, increment its index in the array.
Whichever has better time & space complexity
If anyone wants an update on my interviewing process, I made it to the onsite for Google last month. Have been studying Grokking and a little bit of Leetcode this whole month. The last batch of interviews is in 3 days. I'm so close
Inching closer and closer to going to school for information systems but dont know where to start ngl.
Just talked to the recruiter one of the places I’m interviewing at is going to extend an offer. I can’t believe this mane. Crazy part is I still have other interviews upcoming so idk how they’ll give me to accept it or not.
I kinda feel bad because my current company basically my whole team is leaving, just had two manager leave last week, a senior engineer a couple months ago…. And we were already struggling for engineers before that…

I have Google scheduled as well. I’m so shook, I cut the process short in the past cause I accepted my current job but the recruiter hit me up again earlier this month and I told her to give me a month to prepare with Leetcode cause I already what’s it’s going to be on.
Good luck.

Finished it earlier today. I think it went well. Finished all the problems but didn't have time any follow ups. My non-technical interviewer was my age and was real chill.
Good luck. If you stick to a real good study plan I think you'll be good
