A friend of mine applied to few corporate jobs within finance and data fields. He told me he had few interviews online and that’s about it, no one called back. I’m in the same situation rn. I’m waiting till things cool down a little bit so we could at least have an idea what to expect in the summer and then maybe start applying.

I was applying to out of state positions in Texas and that’s why I wasn’t getting call backs. I wanna move outta state and idk what other way to do it. I put it on my resume and cover letter that I was willing to relocate and also did not need relocation assistance. I even got in touch with recruiters from Houston and they would just ghost me. Idk what else to do bro? How else am I supposed to relocate when I have literally stated I’m open to relocating as long as I get the job

I had one interviewer straight up ask me: “just to be clear, are you in Houston or Illinois”. There’s no way around it I talked to recruiters and they told me to make i let them know right off the bat that I’m willing to relocate and I don’t need relocating assistance.
