I was applying to out of state positions in Texas and that’s why I wasn’t getting call backs. I wanna move outta state and idk what other way to do it. I put it on my resume and cover letter that I was willing to relocate and also did not need relocation assistance. I even got in touch with recruiters from Houston and they would just ghost me. Idk what else to do bro? How else am I supposed to relocate when I have literally stated I’m open to relocating as long as I get the job
I agree with @0 about not telling the employer that you are out-of-state. I live in texas and my employer told us that when the covid pandemic started popping off, they started to pass on applications from non-texans

Where are you I’m trynna move to Houston? Do you think it will be easy to move to Texas now with what’s going on? Also like I mentioned they see that I worked and went to school in Illinois so the first question they ask me is if I’m in Texas or not. Oblivious I can’t lie about that because they will expect me to come for an interview the next day or even all the interviews are on the phone they will expect me to start ASAP which I won’t do unless I have a three week notice so I can find a place to settle in

Gonna cringe so hard seeing all the protestors out that day draped in their american flag s***. Whats with white people and wearing the flag that s***s so f***ing corny

I'm in Dallas but I did live in Houston for a few years. As far as how easy moving to Texas rn would be, honestly, I couldn't tell ya since I'm from here. However, if it's just you moving your stuff in yourself, It doesn't seem impossible. Renters would definitely welcome a steady rent check.

I lived in Irving tx for two years like 9 years ago. It was cool but downtown Dallas was trash, that’s why I’m trynna move to Houston downtown
Also bro I can’t just moved to Texas without having a job. I’m scared that it would take a good month two get a furnished apartment and that’s why I need time and can’t just accept a job in Texas and start working within a week.
