They posted a memo about refusing to wear masks because they’re uncomfortable and bc they “don’t believe in social distancing”. Five employees tested positive for covid and they stayed open for FIVE days after they were notified, all the while never telling employees they were exposed or customers obviously

Lotta those cases were backlogged from jails and s***. Abbot is also going out of his way to test entire nursing homes, so the cases and positivity are rising there while in almost every other state positivity is falling. The data coming in from all over the country is a complete mess at this point and is highly untrustworthy, good or bad.

Weirdly enough, LA is having one of its least deadly weeks of the entire pandemic. The average age of people catching covid is getting younger and they're better equipped to handle it. But nobody gives a s*** anymore so it's not surprising that cases are going up.
