Yeah no problem, it looks like the second wave was worse because it happened when everyone was coming home from World War I. So the virus itself wasn't more deadly, it just infected way more people so there were more deaths.

This variant thing will only be worse if it infects so many people that the hospitals overflow in places, otherwise since there's no evidence saying it's deadlier I wouldn't worry about it. There's nothing you can do rn aside from what you're already doing except get the vaccine when you get the chance. If enough people take it the virus can't spread easily and we're clear to go back to normal
