Stop feeding into every news story. Are you in China? I know you have better s*** in your everyday life you could be focusing on.
My aunt tested positive today
She lives with my grandma
My mom saw my grandma on Saturday
I saw my mom the same day after she saw my grandma
This s***s getting too close to home
And my mom has COPD so I pray she doesn’t have it
I know, it's scary af right now, but there are some positive signs.
There are a few different factors behind the drop in cases we've been seeing, but these vaccines are making a big difference.
In the UK where the vaccination effort has been pretty strong, the 7 day average for cases has dropped from 54k on January 11 to to 22k yesterday. That's a nearly 60% drop in a little over 3 weeks.
The US, which has been pretty slow about vaccinations, has seen a 46% drop from 254k to 136k, also in a little over 3 weeks.

This is such good news family thank you
My boy went to Florida 2 weeks ago he said some places if you wear a mask a lot of those folks look at you like you crazy
damn I got approved for the vaccine but kinda sketched out on taking
You got this man, what are you concerned about specifically? Also which one are you taking

Moderna? I think and idk I've never gotten a flu shot. I received like the necessary things when I was younger but idk I guess no reason really I know there were like a few deaths but idk
these people will never get it
MASKS FOREVER!!! f***ing dumbasses
So self centered they think just because they're vaccinated all of a sudden everyone else who haven't been aren't still at risk lmao

105 million doses have been administered worldwide. The only deaths believed to have been due to vaccinations are 85+ with comorbidities that died to the known flu-like side effects triggered by your immune system in building the antibodies. 0% chance you die from this bud

I mean like obviously if the positivity rate of the virus was way down people wouldn't want to wear masks anymore but until then preventative measures will be in place. You have to spell everything out for them.
We're going to be wearing masks until there's solid data on how the mRNA vaccines affect person to person transmission.

I think once a lot of people have a certain agenda embedded in them, they struggle to think outside of their bias. It's just so tragic that in this case it's literally costing lives

and you'd have a situation where half are wearing masks and half aren't and there isn't some sign you wear that you're vaccinated lol

Well yeah and it's easier for them to get upset and overblow things because they don't believe in it in the first place.

As long as there are signs up asking me to wear a mask, I'm not going to be an a****** about it. People will be uncomfortable without masks for a long time and I'm willing to support that.
These antimaskers are the same people trying to say the N word in the name of free speech. Not only stupid but also insensitive and selfish.

It's already starting to come out. I will look for the studies later but I remember reading that transmission is very unlikely.
The difficult part is that it looks like this coronavirus is never going to go away, but it will just be another flu type thing once we wrap up the vaccine program. There's going to be an annoying debate between the people who never followed a single guideline vs the people who haven't stepped out of their front door in over a year about when it's "officially over". There won't be a day where we can declare we won, we're just gonna have to slowly phase it out and move on. The increase in vaccines and decrease in covid is an indication that this is already starting

You're probably young but it's important that you get the vaccine so even if you get covid you can't give it to others. Depending on where you are there's also a chance that if you turn down the vaccine they will throw it out instead of giving it to someone else. Even if you never get another vaccine again see this as a way for people to get their lives back, and that's something you should want to help happen

Hopefully we will eradicate it one day.
But knowing how stubborn some people are, we probably never
