bad arm pain for like 3.5 days after the initial day of injection...started that night

a couple of bad dizziness spells

    couple headaches

how do you reconcile that we do not know the long term effects these vaccines will have on our body ?
i keep thinking about that. makes me kind of worried about going thru with it.

I just generally look at the history to give me a guideline

    chop.edu/news/long-term-side-effects-covid-19-vaccine

the longest "long term" seems to get in vaccine side effects is a couple months. We've had all these vaccines in people's arms for over two months. All the ones that have messed up in the past have had actual viruses put into you, these have not.

    medpagetoday.com/infectiousdisease/covid19/89998

as far as we know, mRNA vaccines in the past have not come with a wide spread production of some life altering side effect, although they have had some instances of thrombosis from what I understand in the past. And there's at least one case of a doctor in miami that had a rare reaction to the vaccine that was in line with that (his blood wouldn't clot).

essentially, there's no reason to believe that this should affect you years and years down the road, as neither prior mRNA vaccines nor vaccines in the past (all the types we've used) have been worrisome in that way. Id be lying if I said I wasnt somewhat scared, but the anecdotes and statistics are as encouraging as you could ask for

  • The J&J also eliminates the PEG ingredient, that has f***ed the majority of people up that have been f***ed up by covid mRNA vaccines

I'm worried that the side effects are going to beat my ass because my wife had covid and I bet I have some antibodies floating around in there already.

Then again, I'm young, not allergic to anything and have had good history with inoculations in the past (I felt absolutely nothing from my last flu shot), so I'm not really sure what to expect.

Are side effects worse if you've already had covid?

Would make sense since my 55 year old dad barely had any side effects while my friend in college was pretty sick after he got the vax and he had the virus

Yeah they are. Sometimes it's like having it a second time for 24 hours.

My wife is holding out for the J&J which has a better side effects profile.

i was reading on cnn about scientists saying 2 dose vaccines are better and provide more security to the bodys fight against covid than 1 dose vaccines like J&J.

I know how you feel bro, Im health anxious as hell, and scanned my body every few days for like 2 weeks after the first shot. Nothing wrong w me

mRNA ones are more effective at preventing you from getting it, but both tout a close to zero chance at allowing for you to get the serious effects from covid

basically will reduce it to a cold, Id imagine

So far, based on the efficacy figures we have, that is true. J&J will be great for young people and those who already had covid.

It’s so infuriating that mfs just be like “We need to reopen” while physically doing everything in their power of the past 12 months to insure that we never reopen by being reckless af.

Mf we could’ve been open by now if you would’ve stopped crying about wearing a mask and pointing fingers at Bill Gates

Would’ve def had less deaths, but idk if we’d be able to open now. Quite honestly it may have taken us even longer to reopen since herd immunity would take longer since less people would’ve gotten it.

Again, not saying I’d like that since it may have meant less deaths tho.
