    U vaccinated?

yeah but my second dose was in march. prolly got two pennies of antibodies left in my name

But i haven't had anything fatal occur, and I just got tested. Everything sounded good (heart, lungs, BP, etc)

  • bro if we go into a straight up lock down again, I may just give the f*** up on everything I am workin for. It would throw a huge monkey wrench in my life plans, and I am f***in done with dealing with it.

This s*** is really taking a toll on me

Why hasn’t the death rate dropped significantly since the vaccine rolled out?

80% of all Covid deaths came from people 65 and up. That age group is around 85% vaccinated. But our death rate has been 0.4% for a year. How is the virus still killing thousands a week when the likely victim pool has decreased by 80%? Is the virus killing younger people now, or is it just spreading unlike any time before due to reopening?

  • Kept putting off washing my clothes and now I have 5 underwear for a 10 day isolation

    Both lol

You essentially answered your question with the last sentence. It’s several times more virulent and has become the dominant strain in just a few months (which is a lot more impressive than the alpha strain that took over the Wuhan one with relatively few cases)

Younger people are getting it much more, hospitalized much more and I would imagine dying much more although I haven’t looked at demographics of deaths recently

  • Such a surreal time for me, you don’t really realize what this thing is until you get it

Motherfuckers breathing…not even in your face…getting you infected. Just insane.

    It has

The dip is around the time the vaccines rolled out and the slight increase around the present date is prolly cause of delta

the number of deaths has decreased though, in January we had like 3,500 deaths a day.

Just look at the UK, their deaths are significantly lower with the vaccine. same number of cases much lower deaths.

one of but they're not at the top anymore. Florida actually has a similar percentage to Israel but it still leaves about 5 million people that haven't gotten the shots that could have.

Also in the US hospitals put out stat sheets that state the vaccinated to unvaccinated ratio, it's still overwhelmingly unvaccinated.

When are people gonna accept that this is something that we'll address with a yearly shot and it's never going to go away. Like what's the endgame if no one knows what the hell is going on. We'll live life normally as it slowly stops being the make conversation starter

Well I think as it mutates it will get weaker so it will become a non issue. People won’t get hospitalized in mass anymore so it won’t be in the discussion. I mean if history is any indicator.

If it isn’t, no idea how you’re going to stereotype ALL medical professionals just because the ones you interacted with had poor bedside manner

Exactly but we've moved the goalposts so much that even though that's inevitable we'll b**** and moan every second of the way. It could drag on until the midterms or even the next damn election. I'm sick and tired of it and more people are realizing that this is largely political bullshit now
