How long do i have to quarantine after getting covid? Im hearing 10 days... heard from a nurse 48 hours after end of flu symptoms...

I thought this was made for people who are immuno compromised ?

Wild to see how this is handled completely diff in parts of the country. People talking about going outside in 2022 and not getting it like it’s a victory up north while down here in FL we never stopped going outside. Wild to think about.

Yep just like parents in California won’t have any idea what people in Ohio are talking about when they say they have to check their daughters to make sure they’re not transsexual.

Give it a 5 days after the major symptoms are gone. You can get someone else sick like a cold. Wear a mask when you go out after the major symptoms. Treat it the same way as the flu

Yeah fam, I’m continuing to mask up and do anything I can to avoid getting this s*** for the foreseeable future. It’s honestly gotten much easier to be the only person masked in a room. Worth it to actually be able to live again while still staying safe

I mean I’ve kind of accepted that this is just going to be how it is. Best we can do is take individual precautions and do our best to minimize infections. Which f***ing sucks, but it’s doable at least with the current strain.

But yeah man. I wish we had actually tried to contain this thing. Long covid is terrifying.

No, but now that we have a better study on it and solid treatment, it's basically just gonna become a second flu.

unless long term effects arise in a few years

    A few years?

Millions are already experiencing them now. In fact, that’s probably the most pressing concern for the average person when it pertains to COVID right now (especially if your vaccinated/boosted).

Brain fog, organ damage, chronic fatigue etc. a recent study that involved people who had been infected found that many of them had a degree of cognitive decline on par with the necessary intoxication level in the UK to be charged with a DWI.

Imagine the effects this could have on traffic accidents for example, or people who are required to operate dangerous machinery at their jobs.

And this is a country built around having a car, if you don’t drive you’re stuck.
