How did it take y'all to get a negative test because i've had a week's worth of this now.

(I didn't start testing until Wednesday 'cause that's when my tests arrived)

Ngl I’m starting to think this isn’t Covid but some other kind of stomach bug or food poisoning. I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever had this much abdominal pain in my life man

Still going to test tomorrow to be sure but not looking forward to another several hours on the toilet if today is any indication

Hey man, I had food poisoning symptoms as well 3 months ago, have no idea whether I ate some bad imported pork mince or Covid, it happened right after the pork mince but also walking through town unmasked on a warm day although I do that every day

Day 1 was fever/chills, Day 2-3 it turned into abdominal pain with diahre. x constip. then I ruptured from pushing it too hard no issues besides stomach/bottom

I basically had f***ed up mornings and then mustered up the strength to leave the house for work and it lasted 3 days like that

But I never tested for Covid and I never infected the 10+ people I personally know that I interacted with during those days

I water fasted cos I didn't want anything in my system (first time, painful as hell when you start eating again)

my temperature is going up and down like it's wall street b

Co worker that I shared an office with has it. Good thing I was only around him for like 5 minutes last Friday for the past 2 weeks.

Appreciate the insight, my symptoms (thankfully minus the rupture - been there ) have actually lined up pretty closely with that. Yesterday was nausea, today was fever and chills and soreness all over.

I’m still testing negative on the rapid tests, but I’m going to get a PCR this afternoon. Fingers crossed; if I have it I directly exposed my parents for most of Saturday thankfully they both don’t have symptoms though which gives me hope

Tests have all been negative on rapid tests for now, but I’m getting a PCR this afternoon. I’ve been planning a trip to Pitchfork fest this weekend and it’s not looking good even if this isn’t covid if it hasn’t cleared up

i had my full proper meal since sunday, earlier and i'm feeling much better for it.

it's really strange how the tests are turning out negative even though you're relaying positive symptoms. crossfingers something will appear on the PCR man and possibly you might be able to make the fest, as we're still on Monday.

No, I've already had it before back in December. Not saying I can't get it again.

The good news is I feel much better today, still got a sore throat and cough and a bit of a headache, but the fever broke and I’m nowhere near as sore or dizzy.

Bad news is my test came back positive 😔 I’m honestly just so frustrated about this. Yesterday kicked my ass and I’m terrified by the fact that this can happen again at any time. For that matter, I just hope I don’t have anything long-term… my breathing got shallow for a minute there and given that I already have sleep apnea that s*** scared me.

I presume you're going to be isolating for an extended period of time now which is hard in and of it itself. I'm sorry you have sleep apnea on top of this too it must make your mind play tricks on your condition.

I'll try to keep you at rest b the worst is gone now by the sounds of it 'cause the first couple of days were rough asf for me, although since then there'd been an upward improvement of my condition if that serves as any reassurance.

But I truly appreciate that man. I’m hoping I follow the same trajectory, I’ve got my Tylenol and soup and cough drops and I’m going to take it easy. Had to work yesterday and today but got a sick day for tomorrow and my boss said I can take the rest of the week if needed. Appreciate the kind words fam
