The Energy Department made its judgment with “low confidence,” according to people who have read the classified report.

The FBI previously came to the conclusion that the pandemic was likely the result of a lab leak in 2021 with “moderate confidence” and still holds to this view.

The Energy Department carries a lot of weight. It funds every national laboratory I can think of and those were the ones designing COVID ventilators, COVID tests, tools to track COVID, and components in the Moderna vaccine. The reason why the DoE is funding them is because the laboratories were originally designed to study nuclear science, but then started expanding to other fields. But, a result of Low confidence - Moderate confidence means their findings are less likely than the current theory. And that's only two departments. The military, NSA and CIA conducted their own independent investigations and found there is no clear evidence and they have been tracking the spread of the virus. I'm not saying it's not possible but we need more concrete evidence and right now we have high confidence that the origins of COVID are from nature.

Yep, countless people took the risk to get natural immunity and died trying

But that won't stop ppl from running with it like they have been. It's honestly so dumb
