Yes. To an extent it is probably negligence, but on a larger scale you can't alarm people too quickly.

Notice how things started with very minor inconveniences and things have been progressing faster by the day. This is the same everywhere, it just depends on how quickly things spread and how ahead or behind any given country/state/city is.

As a 20 year old, I’ve realized this is my war and tomorrow I’m gonna hit the local grocery stores to try to stock up for my fam and keep them safe. Best advice I can give is to try and process that this is a reality, and that all you can do is properly prepare yourself and your family for the coming weeks/months and that this isn't being blown out of proportion. It's not about some deadly virus that is going to kill us all, it's about the risks we are facing and what needs to be done to contain it. Everything is going to be fine but things will not be the same as they were.
