i think you know kanye has a lot of fans on this forum so you use that to your advantage because it guarantees you interactions and dopamine so i don’t think it’s actually that because ive seen various moral inconsistencies with you
if big sean or asap ferg had a hitler arc you wouldn’t make it your personality on your site to try and trigger every big sean fan

there’s a high proportion of prominent mentally ill black artists in recent times that fall into fascism
obviously we have kanye, azeali banks and now the most recent example is nicki minaj.

I’m not turning a blind eye to anything, I fully acknowledge and recognize that Ye is not a great person in real life. My enjoyment of his music is not an endorsement of his actions, the same way my enjoyment of a Spider-Man video game is not an endorsement of any of the evil s*** Disney does in real life.
If you don’t wanna support Ye’s music because of what he does in real life, that’s totally fair and well within your right. But to try to force that decision upon others and place a judgment upon who they are as a person if their decision doesn’t align with yours is just juvenile imo

Kanye West is a real person directly making the art you listen to. no judgement on caring about his pre-2018 output, side-eyeing people who still cared about his 2018-2021 output, but caring about anything 2022 on is definitely judgement-worthy
same with R. Kelly, i’m not gonna judge people who grew up on his music for still listening to it, he had legit classics. but i 100% judge the people who still listen to the music he’s been dropping since getting locked up
