apparently she shows up at the very end of the season and this is her only scene. maybe they'll just kill her off screen cause this is terrible lol

Yeah but it's one of those things that works well in animation and is really hard to pull off with live actors. Also Ed is a cute little kid, like 12. This Ed is like f***in 30
Jet’s actor is killing it so far
Mustafa Shakir is great...played the villain in Luke Cage S2 and was Mike on The Deuce

Spike also seems older than he was in the anime so idk...I do agree it's a hard character to pull off for a live action version but again you got people who want it to be as faithful to the anime as possible and others who are like "maybe don't include Ed?" lol hard to please everyone is my point...maybe they only included her at the very end to see what kind of response it gets from fans...if it's all extremely negative they'll recast or do away with the character altogether should they get a 2nd season
Let’s be real, people desperately wanted this to be bad. It was never gonna get a fair shake to begin with.

Right. They have to stick to their vision and basically ignore the internet, cause everyone has a different idea about what the show should be.

I definitely don't like what they did with Grin|| but we'll see where it goes I guess...I feel like the live action puts more emphasis on some of the more subtle details of the original anime...||like it's a significant thing in this version that Spike is a former assassin teaming up with a former cop and wants to keep that a secret from Jet whereas in the anime it's not as big of a deal I don't feel...this Spike also a bit more ruthless IMO and less of a goof than the anime version so far

Keep regardless after this
Netflix really on a rampage to ruin every anime live adaptation
Which isn’t really surprising, literally the only good live adaptation of anime that exists is Alita and it took 100 years to get that lol
I hope companies keep making more bad anime live action adaptations.
dont you feel excited that Acadamy Award Winner Taika Waititi natched incal from nwr
So lemme guess, the show that I’ve been saying for months is gonna be s*** and people on here have been all “Let’s just see where it goes” turned out to be s***.
Color me surprised.
I don’t care anymore that they sullied the good name of Cowboy Bebop. I’m extremely more worried that Samurai Champloo could be at arms reach for Netflix.
we were sayin that "lets see" s*** on some chappelle in november 2016 type beat
I feel like no one has any right to be upset this is s***. That’s the norm for anime adaptations in live action. Says more about you if you had faith in this being good
this is trap-a-holic coming in with your reminder to forget this exists and watch chunking express instead
trap-a-holics
real
trap

Gren seems really different but I'm fine it with cause it's its own thing. If I wanted a shot for shot remake I'd just watch the anime.
The weird thing is when they go for their own interpretation of one character but then try to replicate Ed, the most goofy cartoonish character of them all, to the T
Hope Netflix makes a live action Attack on Titan or some s*** lets go full chaos
