Nah the anime pulls this off in the most genuine, artful, and elegant way possible and this is simply the RC Cola version of that experience
You’re never going to replicate the anime lol. That’s not the point of an adaptation. It’s the same thing as superhero movies, there are certain things that can’t be done in live action that can be executed through animated/book formatted. It’s about capturing the essence of the story and this feels like cowboy bebop🤷🏿♂️

I know that. I’m not expecting a replication. I haven’t even advocated for that. I’m all for a fresh take or clever adaptation but this simply feels cheap and soulless. It’s like they wanted to hit it right on the nose so hard that they ended up missing it entirely. It feels like live action cosplay it looks like it was adapted by P***hub.
F*** this s***
this legit looks like a youtube parody
Haven't seen a single episode but i don't think this is possibly that bad. People just cant let s*** live anymore, this show never had a chance.
its understandable because cowboy bebop is a golden cow of media, but people just need to have fun with media rather than trying to critique the s*** 24/7

It never stood a chance. People were gonna trash it just to show how much they love the anime
I’m enjoying it for what it is. And I got the anime on blu-ray, so I’ll just watch that if I want the original

It's not an abomination or anything. The main cast is really good and it has its moments where it nails the Bebop feeling. There's a lot of dumb s*** in there too though.
As someone who’s never gonna watch the anime ( I really don’t vibe with anime I’ve tried several so don’t start), this has been a fun series with some cheesy moments and very good acting performances

The comparison to James Gunn and CollegeHumor is on point.
This was alright. Definitely not as good as I wanted it to be. SMH
Last two episodes were fantastic.
Gren’s re-characterization was so f***ing pointless it actually hurts.

Netflix in general feels like it’s got a terrible track record when it comes to interesting movies and tv that they produce.
Like Uncut Gems feels like the last visually interesting original but it was only distributed by them.
Still haven't convinced myself to watch this... Don't know if this would do anything for me.
James Gunn? Out
Doesnt feel like James Gunn to me. It's got the group of ragtags on a spaceship thing going but Bebop did that before GotG, and so did a lot of other stuff.

Lolim just s***in on gunn. I'm definitely watching this s***
Just finished. Solid 7 or 8. Feels like most ppl letting a scene or two ruin their entire perspective of the show
