The only way to escape "culture war" is to have a material politics. Now, libertarianism is a material politics. It's a project to make class power absolute. Neoliberalism and libertarianism are bedfellows in that regard. The US government is still at least nominally democratic in some of its functions. Democracy is not always beneficial in itself, but there are still diverse interests competing for popular support to a degree. Without government, the only thing that would fill the void is corporations. They are entirely autocratic and authoritarian.
As for culture war, talking about it is playing into it. That's why it's in the title of this ad for the Koch brothers. You aren't going to ride that horse to anywhere good.

Like I said man, it's not about left and right. You see this website lately? It's a microcosm for where we are at right now, an "us vs. them" mentality. I don't care for the person in the video, or her politics. but what she is saying is 100% facts.

Each side is incredibly self-righteous, but incapable of critical thinking and problem solving at the personal level they want government to do it for them, government knows this and will take all the advantage.

There is no mainstream social libertarian movement in US politics. It is solely the project of economically secure smallholders, and tycoons who view themselves as smallholders, to clear the obstruction of government regulation. They typically vilify government while completely ignoring the tyranny of the corporation. As is the case with this video. Now there are unwitting people being duped by this who mistake it for something else. At least they are anti-imperial and anti-prison state and such.
