Looks like this game about to let me live out my Iron Man fantasies
This could end up with a 70 on Metacritic and I wouldn't care. They got bullets bouncing off walls, katanas and blades that come out of your limbs
I think people are so ingrained with swords+horses+open world = RPG, that the second they see a game with guns and cars within an open world setting they instantly think GTA.
Despite the fact that GTA doesn’t allow you to choose your origin story, it doesn’t have a variety of play styles available, nor open ended mission and level design.
It also doesn’t have character customization (outside of clothing), skill systems, or dialogue choices.
in for a s*** show
the pressure of making this game for 8 years and not nailing it
u can imagine how they feelin rn
when they release and the reception they get
Niggas so pessimistic
this is always the case for RPG
look at star citizen. amazing graphics blah blah but the gameplay clunky af. the first person aspect should come first just as much as the rpg elements.
Which backstory y'all choosing? Leaning towards Street Kid.
Heard the rumors this could have VR integration.
Yes they denied it earlier themis year because they couldnt get everything to work with it.
But at a chinese panel for the game they had a VR treadmill 👀
I got an oculus rift coming in. If this happens it will be the best game experience ever
Nah b f*** all this hate yall putting on this game.
Witcher 3 was probably one of the 5 best games I've ever played and I've been gaming on everything stretching back to the NES.
Not every single thing is gonna be perfect, but the overall experience will make this game a masterpiece.

Definitely going for either Street or Corpo

Game looks really dope, and if the story really is how they make it seem, where your decisions really change up the story everytime then that will diff be game of the year.
Excited for the online too...who cares if this feels like GTA in the future, I would love that tbh
Niggas so pessimistic
Fr some people have the stupidest f***ing criticisms...
“WHY ISNT THE TRAILER JUST PEOPLE TALKING???!?”

It's just the syndrome of GTA being ubiquitous in the mainstream that it doesn't even matter anymore if the core mechanics of another game are similar or not
Just watched the whole stream, game looks a lot better than it did last time
Wait ppl ITT are hating on/doubting this game?
Idiots

Knowing damn well they're still going to play it

It seems like the ones doubting have never played an rpg lol
Corpo lit
Seems like Corpo is the most popular one, probably because it’s the most unique.
I plan on playing a badass dominatrix chick who’s also a netrunner (hacking bonus bucks from clients), so I think I’ll probably lean more into street kid.
I wonder, if you do go down the Corpo route, if you can try and take the the company down from the inside in any capacity, or if it mostly just has an effect on dialogue when it comes to discussing corporations or talking to employees/corporate executives.
I’m assuming probably the latter.
