I'm sorry for people who had unrealistic expectations
Like wanting the game to work?
I hate when people sit here and say this like cdprojektred arent openly giving out refunds because they know its crashed over ten times for a huge chunk of players
I beat the game and had over 20 crashes on a ps5.
No excuse for that.

I played on PC and it worked totally fine other than a few crashes. Sucks it performs bad on base consoles but that's besides the point

Not really. If the game isnt functional then its a flaw.
I didnt have unrealistic expectations. I wanted a game i could play for 2 hours straight without having to reboot the game.
Theres other flaws as well but they are very forgivable next to the blatant elephant in the room

The game is objectively broken. “Well it didn’t crash for me” is not an excuse for that when judging the game as a whole. They’re literally giving people their money back, because it is broken.
Ive gotten quoted multiple times in this thread about how i had unrealistic expectations. Clearly judging by the developers own response there is something wrong with this game for a large quantity of the player base. So lets not act like i thought it was supposed to be the key to heaven. I just wanted a fun game that was somewhere within the realm of quality as their last project.

It was functional in my 80 something hours. I don't consider a few crashes a flaw

I wish y’all, the media and Sony had this same energy for other buggy games.

Not disagreeing with you, I'm just saying the game did meet a lot of people's expectations

Bro ive been playing games for over 20 years and i have never played a AAA game that crashed like this. Ive never played a game that has crashed 20 times in a playthrough period.
I loved the witcher 3. Top 5 games all time for me.
I dont hate the developers. They fumbled the bag clearly. I would have this energy for ANYONE who released a game this broken

Thats where we differ. For me personally it was quite alot more than a few.

I’ve crashed more times playing Valhalla in one day than I did playing Cyberpunk.
It’s telling that Valhalla sales went up because of the Cyberpunk debacle, because there is no coverage on how buggy and unoptimized that game is. I also bought it after refunding Cyberpunk and it’s performance is worst, but you wouldn’t even know that because again that same energy is not conveyed at other games.
TW3 also was somewhat of a mess on release, but there was no hype around it like this so the most we got were player forum posts.

This is trying to distort the narrative clearly. I have Valhalla as well and its only crashed twice. Witcher 3 was a bit buggy yeah but it was not even close to this monumental.
We have to take the response of the majority of players. Judging by the response of cdprojektred its clearly a gigantic issue.
Eventually we have to see outside our own perspective and realize just because its not happening to you or me its happening to hundreds of thousands of other people. This is clearly more than just media trying to make a story at this point

You just said that because someone else doesn’t crash means nothing. I’ve crashed once my whole time playing Cyberpunk.
I crashed 3 times in one day playing Valhalla. Who is distorting the narrative at this point?
Look at the Valhalla Reddit you’ll see a bunch of bugs being posted and complaining. It’s just again not as amplified and loud as it was with Cyberpunk because of the coverage.

my game 100% not broken lmfao i’ve had no crashes and a handful of visual glitches, s*** just reminds me of Fallout 3 in that aspect

Im saying we cant just take our two experiences and say one of them is the truth. The true narrative doesnt start with us.
There arent hundreds of thousands of people demanding refunds for valhalla. It isnt just media manipulation, cuberpunk is fundamentally broken on consoles

Thats cool. Theres hundreds of thousands of people who cant literally play this game because it wont stop crashing.
But i guess f*** them if it works for you
I'm sorry for people who had unrealistic expectations
people go into s*** hoping and praying to be disappointed
people go into s*** hoping and praying to be disappointed
Thats not even what happened though. It literally doesnt play for thousands of people. Why cant yall understand this concept
If i was s***ting on the story or gameplay okay, we can debate that.
Thats not the issue though.
People were hoping they could play the game start to finish and cant get out the prologue stage. People only thinking of themselves here lmao

How do we know how many people want a refund for the poor performance of Valhalla? It’s clear though there are people upset with how buggy the game is, and there has been very little coverage of it especially in comparison to Cyberpunk.

All I’m saying is all this energy y’all have for Cyberpunk needs to be on display for all these other buggy and lazy releases we’re getting.
Niggas really saying boo this game buggy, go buy that other buggy game.

Your game is 100% broken, you have just been lucky enough not to encounter the numerous bugs present in the game, which most people end up dealing with

Difference is that around launch valhalla sold 1.7 million copies. Its probably around 3-4 mill at this point.
Cyberpunk sold 13 million copies within a few weeks.
Theres clearly a difference here and why theres such a big uproar compared to valhalla which also didnt have nearly as high of expectations compared to cyberpunk which had hype through the f***ing roof.
It blows my mind that people think the game is being unfairly panned for bugs
That’s literally the opposite of what’s going on. People are bending over backwards to excuse this release just because they’ve been invested in the game for so long

So you’re saying because more people bought this game the other game that still has sold millions and was the most purchased game for the holidays shouldn’t be talked about?
So screw those with the game and the other people that didn’t know that bought it after refunding Cyberpunk for its bugs.
