Its exactly whats going on. I am a huge stan of witcher 3. And i was very invested. But i cant sit here and shill for a game that clearly has major trouble playing on consoles.

If it works for you on pc, thats cool man. But im not gonna just wave off hundreds of thousands, possibly millions of people just because my experience is different

Its also that people know ubisoft games are buggy af and have been forever. But people keep on buying them. In fact despite odyssey and origins having similar issues, valhalla had the best launch of any assassins creed game. If there was a huge uproar it wouldve happened by now, but most of the playerbase generally accepts it. Im sure there are people asking for refunds but it clearly isnt a big enough response for ubisoft to give a s***.

Cyberpunk had far more time in development and came out with far worse performance. The fact that cdprojektred recieved such harsh backlash that theyre bending over backward to give out refunds should tell you all you need to know.

I personally believe anyone who cant play a game they payed full price for should get their refund. So im not saying f*** you to anyone. However theres quite enough evidence here and not just through proffessional media but the community in general to say cyberpunk is broken on consoles. And the response is justified. TW3 was very buggy on launch and it took a while for it to reach its peak of where it currently is.

This is all excuses. My problem isn’t calling Cyberpunk out it’s doing it whilst saying very little about the other huge game that launched recently with massive bugs and that was even pushed after Cyberpunk refunds to get people to spend money on another buggy game.

AC has been in development for 2.5 years and Cyberpunk what 4? Is that a legitimate excuse here when Valhalla doesn’t even take advantage of all the visual tools on PC Cyberpunk does requiring more development time?

Valhalla is s*** performance wise and so are the last 3 ubisoft games. People didnt care enough. I cant get mad for buying taco bell and expecting diarrhea. Like why would they fix it when the majority arent causing commotion over it.

Cdprojektred had a vision and they couldnt live up to it. Idc that it tried to push more of a barrier than valhalla. Valhalla settled for the same game with a different skin. Okay. You should expect that. But at least for the majority of the gaming community they can play valhalla from start to finish. Most people cant do that in cyberpunk

i think it’s gotta be the hype why people are acting like the game is unplayable. i hated witcher and didn’t give a s*** about this game until like a month ago. the bugs are at like fallout level and the performance on base ps4 only dips in some high density areas. it’s annoying but not nearly as bad or often as everyone who hasn’t played it on ps4 seems to believe. and as far as i can tell it runs fine on the next gen consoles and pc

anyone notice how police actually set and clean up crime scenes that you cleared out? and a few days later the place becomes populated and there are new stores

Trying to play this game thorugh before Sony refunds

I just got RDR2 in 2021, games been out for several years, so far I’ve ran into: main quest bugs that don’t allow me to progress, floating objects, disappearing assets, I shoot people and sometimes their bodies go flying away at superhuman speed, sometimes the weather random disappears and is replaced by darkness and then goes back to light randomly while walking around, npcs randomly crashing into each other while driving, etc. and I’m only 20 hours in lol

Yet rdr2 got universal critical and audience acclaim

The truth is the bugs are mostly tangential to your overall enjoyment

The bigger issue is cd projekt red hiding the fact that ps4/Xbox one performance is poor. I’m not surprised but it’s still a shady business practice

RDR 2 is one of the most polished games of the last gen besides some frame drops in saint denis.

Hearing Sinnerman is great. F***ed it up myself before I found out what happens though.
