It blows my mind that people think the game is being unfairly panned for bugs
That’s literally the opposite of what’s going on. People are bending over backwards to excuse this release just because they’ve been invested in the game for so long
Its exactly whats going on. I am a huge stan of witcher 3. And i was very invested. But i cant sit here and shill for a game that clearly has major trouble playing on consoles.
If it works for you on pc, thats cool man. But im not gonna just wave off hundreds of thousands, possibly millions of people just because my experience is different
It’s an era of gaming where it is pretty much assumed that games of this scope will be pretty f***ed up on release and will require patching, and Cyberpunk still managed to be shocking in that regard.
I'm sorry for people who had unrealistic expectations
You mean the unfair and unrealistic expectation of a game that doesn’t crash every two hours?
So you’re saying because more people bought this game the other game that still has sold millions and was the most purchased game for the holidays shouldn’t be talked about?
So screw those with the game and the other people that didn’t know that bought it after refunding Cyberpunk for its bugs.
Its also that people know ubisoft games are buggy af and have been forever. But people keep on buying them. In fact despite odyssey and origins having similar issues, valhalla had the best launch of any assassins creed game. If there was a huge uproar it wouldve happened by now, but most of the playerbase generally accepts it. Im sure there are people asking for refunds but it clearly isnt a big enough response for ubisoft to give a s***.
Cyberpunk had far more time in development and came out with far worse performance. The fact that cdprojektred recieved such harsh backlash that theyre bending over backward to give out refunds should tell you all you need to know.
Its not ign just picking favorites here lmao alot of games come out buggy. But very few draw this kind of criticism from the gaming community.
I personally believe anyone who cant play a game they payed full price for should get their refund. So im not saying f*** you to anyone. However theres quite enough evidence here and not just through proffessional media but the community in general to say cyberpunk is broken on consoles. And the response is justified. They kept trying to delay it again and again for a reason
Idk what your point is here anymore. Because other games are buggy we should always tear into developers? Or that people arent that mad its just ign and gamespot controlling the narrative? This is clearly an anomaly where a huge AAA f***ed up big time. It seems tou just want to argue to argue. Its a fact this game has serious performance issues

??? If we’re going by the studio’s launch rep than CDPR should be known for having buggy launches as well then right?
TW3 was very buggy on launch and it took a while for it to reach its peak of where it currently is.
This is all excuses. My problem isn’t calling Cyberpunk out it’s doing it whilst saying very little about the other huge game that launched recently with massive bugs and that was even pushed after Cyberpunk refunds to get people to spend money on another buggy game.
AC has been in development for 2.5 years and Cyberpunk what 4? Is that a legitimate excuse here when Valhalla doesn’t even take advantage of all the visual tools on PC Cyberpunk does requiring more development time?

Theres clearly a difference between bugs and unplayable.
Hence the insane backlash for this game.
Witcher 3 had bugs, that doesnt mean it was literally unplayable for the gaming community.
Like i dont know how many times i can tell you that this game is more broken than valhalla. Just because your experience was worse in one game than the other doesnt mean everyones is like that. Go try to get a refund for valhalla then. Sorry you refunded and also got another s***ty game.
Im not here saying other games dont have bugs. But if you consider the entire fanbase thats playing the games there is just more being broken with cyberpunk, and theres a s*** ton more people playing it so its obviously a bigger story.
Valhalla is s*** performance wise and so are the last 3 ubisoft games. People didnt care enough. I cant get mad for buying taco bell and expecting diarrhea. Like why would they fix it when the majority arent causing commotion over it.
I can get mad for buying something that was supposed to be fine cuisine and getting food poisoning to the point i literally cant eat the same food ever again.
As for the last part, like who cares?
Cdprojektred had a vision and they couldnt live up to it. Idc that it tried to push more of a barrier than valhalla. Valhalla settled for the same game with a different skin. Okay. You should expect that. But at least for the majority of the gaming community they can play valhalla from start to finish. Most people cant do that in cyberpunk

You saying it’s more broken means nothing... Just admit you enjoy piling on and stop quoting me tbh at this point this discussion is useless. Valhalla has been way worst for me so it obviously varies.
Niggas refuse to admit they don’t actually care about performance or bugs but all of a sudden started to with this game.
Can’t believe we really making excuses for why buggy games in general don’t need to be called out but oh yea this one definitely does.

And just left it at that.

You putting your fingers in your ears and going nah nah nah didnt happen to me doesnt help
Not even worth it. Just because it didnt happen to you, doesnt mean thats what is happening.
i think it’s gotta be the hype why people are acting like the game is unplayable. i hated witcher and didn’t give a s*** about this game until like a month ago. the bugs are at like fallout level and the performance on base ps4 only dips in some high density areas. it’s annoying but not nearly as bad or often as everyone who hasn’t played it on ps4 seems to believe. and as far as i can tell it runs fine on the next gen consoles and pc
anyone notice how police actually set and clean up crime scenes that you cleared out? and a few days later the place becomes populated and there are new stores
dont lose your mind gotta be the worst designed mission ive ever played.
extra sad because i liked the delamain quest line

You’re just coming off as a fanboy tbh
The games issues have been well documented to say the least

You’re the one who is too f***ing stupid to wrap your mind around the fact that just because you didn’t experience bugs, it is still a widespread and well documented issue.
You’re being irrational and getting super defensive for no reason. Definitely fanboy behavior.
do you think teanna trump is jealous of @basedspirit d*** sucking skils? I think so
Which side quests are a must you think?
Trying to play this game thorugh before Sony refunds

I just got RDR2 in 2021, games been out for several years, so far I’ve ran into: main quest bugs that don’t allow me to progress, floating objects, disappearing assets, I shoot people and sometimes their bodies go flying away at superhuman speed, sometimes the weather random disappears and is replaced by darkness and then goes back to light randomly while walking around, npcs randomly crashing into each other while driving, etc. and I’m only 20 hours in lol
Yet rdr2 got universal critical and audience acclaim
The truth is the bugs are mostly tangential to your overall enjoyment
The bigger issue is cd projekt red hiding the fact that ps4/Xbox one performance is poor. I’m not surprised but it’s still a shady business practice

then you got bad luck with your red dead 2 version.
RDR 2 is one of the most polished games of the last gen besides some frame drops in saint denis.
