So did they add any new skills? The skill tree was the weakest part of the game for me, everything was meh.

You can check the cyberpunk site, there’s a character builder on there.

It’s much more Fallout esque now in terms of abilities.

The only way to play those versions physically is to get last gen versions and upgrade them to next-gen (which is still free).

have yet to see any information that leads me to believe this will change the issues i (and many others) persoanlly have with the game.

still have it downloaded and down to try it but expectations are super low

i jumped onto the hype train late, but as a huge sci fi nerd i was sold this was game of life (without having played witcher 3)

i imagine those who love them for that are finally getting the finished version of what they want out of a cdprojektred game

but for me it just feels like a flashy blockbuster with a lot of charm, but lacking in gameplay to truly keep me wanting to engage with the story unfortunately

They FINALLY added the ability to look behind you if you drive a car in first person.

Also, you can use upgrade/crafting components you’ve found to strength your armor cyberware

Loaded my character, idk what glitch I did but I got 10k of each crafting components, 8m credits, 20 in each attribute and 400 perk points

Update 2.0 is wild, loading back into a character you got like 20 mins of work to do cause they changed EVERYTHING

being able to respec perks and attributes is so nice though whew

not sure how I feel about all my armor losing their goated stats but i think over time I’ll appreciate the change

they scrapped the entire old system when you login to your old save they’re just like “rebuild your entire character now”

all the new perks are different and way better

armor is now a branch of cyberware now so you gotta buy it from a ripper doc. the “upgrade u” quest should start when you load in after the update to help guide you there.

They removed armor from clothing so you can wear whatever you want.

It’s now regulated mostly to cyberware (I say mostly because some pieces, like military style clothing items, do give you armor bonuses as well).
