I relistened to DAMN recently and even though I now kinda don't mind DUCKWORTH's intro/outro as part of the album, I still can't take GOD seriously

Nah chill. Not many albums period are 10/10 and Kendrick's only 10/10 album is TPAB and that's it. GKMC is close though.

DAMN is cool and probably a classic but it's still in the artistic shadow of TPAB and GKMC, even despite the Pulitzer. It was Kendrick's "Graduation" moment where he peaked commercially but it wasn't his best album.

Years down the line, when people reflect on Kendrick's legacy, I bet TPAB and GKMC are going to get brought up and dissected more than DAMN despite not being as successful.

But, all in all, it's still a good album. Just not 10/10.
