You don’t mean that
of course not, it’s not that serious
i do highly disagree with your ranking tho
F*** that one ds2 dlc though, had you running for 15 minutes straight in a blizzard only to fight a recycled boss
BB
DS1=DS2
DS3
Sekiro
I played them all in order as they released and I can tell you that the DS2 hate is way overblown. DS1 fans were hype on DS2 and we all liked it a lot. Sure it’s missing the amazing interconnectedness of DS1 (so is DS3) and the levels sometimes don’t coherently match one another but that’s really not that big of a deal. DS2 also did a lot of innovative things that DS3 backtracked on.
DS3 is more thematically coherent with its level design but it also makes it a little bland IMO and feels like it’s missing some of the high fantasy areas that DS1 had like the Ash Lake. Where as DS2 didn’t really concern itself with coherent design but the high variety of environments made it really cool to explore and it’s so long that’s it feels like a giant adventure across a huge landscape.
Sekiro is cool to me but I prefer the RPG elements of soulsborne.
Really enjoyed DS2 for the exact same reason u pointed out. Although i found it to be the most frustrating at times, especially in maps like Iron Keep and Earthen Peak.
Yeah DS3 doesn't have the same nostalgic charm as the first two but honestly is the one I have most fun playing rn
and those boss fights are some of the best OAT

Oh yeah DS2 definitely the most frustrating. Enemy placements on some bullshit, narrow corridors where your sword clangs off but theirs doesn’t, sus hit boxes, SOTFS bullshit invasions.
Definitely took the dark souls difficulty meme to another level.
I’ve enjoyed replaying BB the most and I’m currently playing through SOTFS for the first time and enjoying it.

DS2 isnt that hard once you know what you’re doing. a claymore can be found relatively quickly and can be used until the end of the game. Most enemies in ds2 liss their attacks if you circle to the left or right ( common thing for souls games in general )
Still a motherfucker though
Literally why I think this game is one of the best games ever.
This and the second owl fight where he fakes you out as well.
Still a motherfucker though
GOD TIER GAME AAAAAAAAAAAH GAME FEELS LIKE S***AM GETTING H**** LOOKING AT THIS
I can't beat this f***ing Sekiro final boss I can't even cheese this guy once he pulls out the spear

Did you beat every other boss?
Did you beat every other boss?
All of the main story bosses and most of the mini bosses, the route I took through the game meant I missed the two apes though. Didn't have to cheese any of them (3rd phase true monk I spammed firecrackers tho). I can't do s*** to Sword Saint though. I got to the point where I even tried to cheese him which I can do easy on first phase but that spear f***s me up even if I'm able to conserve all my gourds til then

You cant really cheese Isshin. Just practice getting his moveset down and exploit all the Mikiri openings. Also firecracker the s*** out of him if you need to.
His next phase is even better

Yeah he is a tough one. Maybe watch other people beat him? Might give you an idea. I wouldnt rely on cheesing it wont feel very satisfying to beat him.
I tried that to with demon of hatred and umbrella + whistle and regretted it on my first playthrough. Also you wont actually get any better at the boss like that.
