Would've accepted an Elden Ring delay for some Sekiro DLC
First time playing through the Oolacile/Artorias DLC
Maaaan fighting Artorias is a b**** to get through

Have no idea why they didn’t do actual DLC (not that test of power stuff) for Sekiro
Is DS2 worth playing?
Massively yes. Not as good as the other from games but still way worth it as a game in general and on the grand scheme of stuff out there

Biggest turnoff for me (based on s*** I've read) is how health/dying works. Also seems like a lot of people say the controls feel slippery, or s*** like that. But f*** it, it's prob like $20 by now. I'll prob get it once I wrap up DS1 on switch

How would you rank the souls games? And ig Bloodborne and sekiro included

I thought it was a lock when we went back in time twice to fight Butterfly and then Owl Father. I wanted to fight Tomoe.
Guess the opportunity for a massive game just took priority. Miyazaki said this is their biggest project so they probably jumped on it immediately.

I’m a newer fan and played them all earlier this year so I’m sure others who’ve really lived these games can speak on them better but I think of the ones I’ve played
Bloodbourne
DS3
Sekiro
DS1
DS2
But I have very special and enjoyable memories from my playthroughs of all of them. They all have the fromsoft magic and none are a waste of time, effort or braloserls

It’s still worth it for like $40. It definitely controls wayyy different from DS3-BB. I think it was built on a whole different engine.
But it’s sooooo long it feels like a proper adventure with tons of varied environments.

Blows my mind it's $40 when you can get DS3 for like half that. On the note of controls, would you say it's a step up or step down from DS1? It took me a couple hours to adjust to 1 after coming from 3 and Sekiro, but it doesn't really bother me now except when I jump straight into it after playing one of the newer games.

Definitely a step up from DS1. When it first dropped every fan thought it handled amazing but obviously in comparison to DS3 and sekiro it’s clunky

The death mechanics seems intimidating but you get items along the way that help deal with it, it’s not as bad as it seems

Aint s*** compared to Demons Souls. In that one if you die you lose half of your max health until you beat the next boss
Just started DS3. I remember a few years back my friend let me try it out on his xbox, I probably died to the first boss 20 times. Beat that motherfucker on my first attempt

I can beat the first boss blindfolded with one arm inside of a kidnappers truck with a gun pointed to my head.
Yet the first time I did it it took me so long to beat it It really is the best tutorial boss ever imo.
Champion Gundyr however :ffpu: love that boss wish they upgraded the hp a little bit same problem with the dancer actually
Alright for Elden Ring I wanted to play all the souls games except demons souls. Now im done excelt ds2
F*** that game im going back to DS1

You misunderstood me I replayed all souls games in anticipation of ER but now I am done with all of them except for DS2. And because I dont like it I will just play the rest of the games again
