Midir done
Had to completely change my strat, level up a completely different weapon, but he's done, now to get my normal loadout for Gael, who at the VERY least will be a lot more fun
Gael is so fun to fight
I barely even get mad at how difficult he is, haven't beaten him yet, but he's just such a fun battle and a real cool glass of water after Midir

fighting him with ringed knight paired greatswords was
This is insane, easily most impressive mod ive ever seen, at least for souls games. Demo is out now if yall interested, i know what im playing tonight
Bosses are the worst aspect of this mod. Too spongy, wonky hit boxes, definitely unbalanced. But its a demo so im expecting the full release to have fixed these issues
Just ordered the trilogy, gonna start next week
DS will feel a little dated but otherwise it's still a very mechanically sound game. Attacks are very deliberate. Parrying is harder but you don't need to learn it. It helps though.
Game will feel slower but you can still get fast dex weapons. Imo DON'T get the master key on your first playthrough. It will make your order of progress a little more confusing.

Word. I just finished Sekiro right after playing through Bloodborne so I gotta readjust lol. I'm gonna be out here accidentally trying to parry by pure instinct

DS3 Feels alot more fitting to the current souls games. just make sure you be careful bout fall damage in that game, it gets a bit ridiculous sometimes compared to the others

Word noted. And I'm just gonna go in order
Going from Sekiro to this clunky s*** has been rough lol
Yeah it will be tough going backwards especially from sekiro which is just amazing in all aspects
Gotta try to think of the time this came out… absolutely blew everyone’s minds

For sure. Still having fun, a little tired of not having fast travel though lol
I just got to Anor Londo so I think I’m like halfway through the game

Makes you really appreciate the world design though. Makes that s*** really feel like an adventure cuz you’ve literally traveled so far

Fair lol but I be lazy

This why I don't recommend playing FromSoft games in any order other than chronological
Any boss where you’re fighting two enemies at once is f***in trash, easily my least favorite kind of fight

O&S is peak on subsequent runs once you get them down. But yeah the first time is pretty brutal, especially with ds1 movement.

I hated that fight a lot. After a while I did the summon and beat it immediately though
Does the movement get better in DS2? I’m enjoying this game a lot but man the movement is rough
