The highs may not be as high as some other projects but it's easily the best album of his. Consistent throughout and infinitely replayable.

Also, this is a great project to play on a long drive. Seamless transitions, keeps you alert on the road, and the radio theme really makes it feel like it was made for a car setting

A really interesting comparison actually, the juxtaposition between Frank using the chipmunk high pitch effect and Abel opening with that super deep voice

I read somewhere that Frank did that pitched voice as a tribute to Prince.
Frank is a big fan, Prince used to do it in songs. He also made a feminine alter ego/secret alias named "Camille", and also recorded a full album for it.

Especially in the night time. Album is absolutely immaculate the whole way through when you're driving at night

  • his best studio album

  • Dawn FM got me back into Weeknd after years...

  • Dope album but After Hours clearing I'm afraid

  • LaFleur

We were a few defending it when it dropped and even fewer calling it his best album ever. A couple of years later I can easily say that we were winning back then, we're winning today and we'll keep on winning

That hate for this album legit had me baffled. Abel was born to make synth pop imo

You know what group of people were discrediting this album lmaoo I’ll never forget it though

  • Love the first half, the second half not so much but there are some crazzzzzzzzzzzzy songs (don't break my heart <3)

  • Fantastic album, sounds even better live

  • My favorite project by him

Really enjoyed a couple tracks on it

  • Undisclosed

How we feeling 2 years later?

not his best but it grew on me

    some great songs on here

  • If you don't feel the need to dance the moment Sacrifice comes on, then you must paralyzed from the neck down!

  • His best album production wise, it sounds so current without it sounding trendy. Best Album post Trilogy.

  • A Tale By Quincy has such a rad instrumental. Also the spoken part, even if a personal story, is good.

And the lead-up to Out of Time, so nice!

  • I like the album, but in the mainstream and in terms of success After Hours carried this album completely.
