I always heard people either loved it or hated it

I have not seen any opinions in the middle for it lol

it’s just one of those games where you really have to buy into the Kojima weirdness to enjoy it

I feel like you’re gonna love it based on what I know about your tastes tbh, it’s a mindblowing experience the first time through, kojima is a one-of-a-kind writer and worldbuilder

Dude seems to have really gone for stylized lighting this go around which will make the journey a lot more dynamic, I'd think

This and GTA VI the same year though.

Very divisive game for sure

Only advice I can give you is to just fully immerse yourself in to the world and gameplay. Take your time when playing and just embrace everything that Kojima throws at you

But there is actually quite a bit of combat the further you get in the game.
Just stick with it and you’ll be rewarded with the most unique game you’ve ever played
