I think he means that’s what hideo was working on before they started mocap for death stranding, if death stranding came out in 2019 and they did mocap for 3 years that means this story probably took place around 2014-2015-ish, just around P.T., which was a teaser for a full silent hill game we never got

yeah mixed because the gameplay is a bit simple in comparison to the story, but I don’t mind. I think of it as a story-driven experience.

Kinda like how Mario games doesn’t tell an amazing story but the gameplay is incredible, they still get 10/10, this is just the reverse.
