It does give more of a horror vibe to me so I’m thinking it could be different, but at the same time death stranding 2 just might lean a lot further into the horror of the apocalypse and the BTs

I'm low-key hoping this is the horror game rather than DS2 (I like seeing Kojima do original IP's after being in MGS for 20 years).

But the text on the side is very similar to the text he used in DS. We'll find out soon enough. He posted another teaser image with WHERE AM I and it has a different girl as the silhouette.

10/10 game. I just know Kojima gonna give us an amazing sequel

I almost liked this game more than RDR2. It’s a really good game. Not enough people take my recommendation when I tell them about Death Stranding.

Fr. I was one of those who didn't think I will enjoy the game but gave it a try recently and fell in love with it from the start.

He did do other ips during mgs as well lol. Zone of the Enders series, Boktai, Policenauts, Castlevania reboot etc.

Also it takes a lot to completely restart from scratch, over n over makes no sense he would go bankrupt or over work everyone or it would take years n years. Possibly a combo of all 3. Its not a sinple process at all from asset creation to engine development to right away fresh concepts in shirt time to sourcing new voice actors/actresses once again to remarketing to hoping it pulls off with the public etc. etc. etc.

Let the man have at least one sequel off his brain child lol i dont get that type of thinking im sure he has ideas he couldnt fully finish for the original & has tons more new ideas he would like to implement in his creation. He didnt even want to give up mgs he still had a lot he wanted to do with that world.

Makes no sense to just throw it away right away.

Wonder if you’re gonna play as a Porter again in this one or if you’ll take on a different role in the game universe that changes up the gameplay

Norman Reedus has a connection with GDT. GDT cast Norman in his first movie.

He said yes to Kojima bc GDT told him to.

Yeah I played it for the first time on PS4, got it on PC, played till Chapter 3 & was totally out of it. Too much effort at the time lol

It becomes basically effortless past Chapter 3 and that's part of the pay-off.
