Sam not being able to die and having to learn his whole life is a lie not once not twice not even three times but like at least 5 times... I wouldve killed myself a long time ago but the guy cant even do that f\*\*\*ing hell...

Sam could legit be Solid Snake levels of tragic hero character, but Kojima and Norman both love having fun too much to let that be the case.

I still think his grief/emotional scenes work though (I'm not a huge fan of Norman's performance in the first game, but I think he's pretty good in this one).

I think it works its not as melodramatic as like old snake was for sure but it still hits hard its just a bit more understated

Krysta from kit and Krysta is playing it rn and never played the first, she’s over the moon about it. Loves the gameplay and finds it is relaxing. She also said she felt like the recap at the beginning helped her understand the world, so she doesn’t feel confused
