PvP is very important for a ton of people

I played D2 for 5+ years because of PvP so did many others

there's literally no PvP system though just hostile open world killing and collecting ears, plus in a game like Diablo 2 max level PvPing is wack so the juice is lvl 9 or 30 duels

and still, the lack of PvP system ruins it for most people

they left it all the same but ya if u wanna PvP youll have to use the 16:9 ratio for advantage

PD2 did 16:9 in old D2, I'm sure they can do it in the remaster while keeping the 4:3 as an option.

Yeah I know there's no real system, but it'll be a lot of fun without tons of dupes / bots initially where there will be more viable builds that aren't all cookie cutter.

i love PvP with my friends testing who is better at lvl 9 and 30 etc while we grind a new char

but also love making lvl 9s specifically for PvPing friends

i wish they added an optional PvP system

I’m debating whether to get this or not. I’ve come to the realization Im not a fan of games where the primary game loop is loot.

PvP the most attractive thing to me about this. D3 pvp sucked

Loot in this game is different though. It’s not like you’re buying loot boxes and stuff. There’s a lot of enemy types and it’s great co op fun. Made a lot of friends back in the early days on bnet and would swap between this, starcraft and warcraft 2 a lot

That and I liked the actual story

D2 does looting correctly unlike 99% of games

PvP is only fun once you can gear up and that will only happen by reaching endgame and loot for weeks -> months

That said D2 is one of the greatest PvP and PvM games in existence

I looked more into Diablo 2 and found out it doesn’t really have a endgame besides just having very scare droprates and it’s more rune and skill heavy.

Did this game provide lots of build diversity. This will be the first time playing Diablo 2
